I guess a lot of you have seen the Last Lecture by Randy Pausch about him choosing to talk about what he had as childhood dreams as he approached his own end. It made me think of what dreams I had as a child of what I wanted to do and be.
I had a great science teacher in junior high that inspired me to want to be a teacher. I always love to see the light go on when someone grasps a concept or when they can pass on their knowledge to someone else. Not quite a teacher but teaching is a part of what I do.
I wanted to be a pioneering adventurer and explorer, crossing oceans and climbing mountains. I've traveled a lot of the US and some overseas but hope to add more to my list.
I wanted to be a world famous race car driver, formula one. Well, I have a drivers license and can ride a bike....well with trainers.

I recently drove a dragster and would like to race touring cars someday.
I was wondering what you had as childhood dreams and were you able to accomplish them? Is there anything stopping you?
