I've been informed that my introduction to this group is, apparently, mandatory so here it is.

My name's Dave, I'm Chinese, and my birth name is Fanfei. The two letters in my forum tag before my American name are my initials. I was born in Shanghai, China but right now I live outside of Boston, Massachusetts so if anyone's in the general area of my state, feel free to say hi!

Uh ..hm. I kind of feel like I'm writing a personals ad. :P

I'm in to a lot of different things. I sing, I play a little piano, I'm attempting to pick up the guitar. I like weight lifting, a few different sports, video games, and some outdoorsy stuff too.

I guess that's it for now but if anyone wants to shoot me a hello or has a question definitely send me a message! :]

Hi Dave and welcome. Thanks for writing a bit about yourself. I guess it can feel a little strange but it gives us all a little feel for who you are and what kind of contributions (or possibly trouble) you could bring to the site. So thanks for posting your intro, welcome and hi from someone who lived in Boston years ago but is no where near there now. Enjoy your time here and if you're ever in the mood to turn on the mic and play your guitar in chat that's always appreciated here. (OK so maybe not if you really suck but...LOL)
