I had a part time job fixing bicycles. There was this old road bike that was in pretty good condition so I decided to fix her up. I replaced the chain, crank, tires and after a good days work she was good to go. It was a labour and of love and the two of us have been inseparable on the road ever since...

I get really annoyed sitting next to litter on the bus or subway and will usually chuck that piece of litter out the door (usually into a garbage or recycling bin at the next stop). That tends to get people's attention. Reduce apathy!
