Any doctors or soon to be doctors out there? Or relatives of one? Or anybody in general?
My brother-in-law will be graduating medical school this spring and I need an appropriate suggestion for a gift. Medical school is a big deal for our family, as he is the first doctor in the family, plus we did not gift him for his past graduations, so we are willing to spend a lot more than a normal graduation. Our budget is up to $500.
I suggested a brothers trip for him and my husband together, so they could get to know each other better as brothers. Since they have both been adults and going to school, working, and families, it's kind for hard for them to spend time together. What do you think of this idea?

I'm pre-med at the moment and my cousin is a surgeon. I feel that would be a great gift from what you've suggested. It takes a lot of work and time getting through the college and medical work and it would be awesome to take a break and chill out with the fam. I think that be a great gift for sure. Spending time with a love one is priceless, and your brother-in-law becoming a doctor now, I'm sure he can prize himself with anything materialistic.
