I'm having a hard time finding a job and an apartment

Also, I wanted to know did you have any fears about living by yourself? I haven't lived at home for almost a year now but I had a roommate. Now I have to live alone and I'm a chicken. How do I get rid of my fears??

I've been unemployed since December. It's been hard, but all I can do is suck it up and keep putting myself out there and hope someone bites.

I lived alone for 2 years. Best thing I ever did. I'm not sure what there is to be afraid about. Having only to worry about yourself and your own bills is a part of growing up. Maybe you're afraid of that? Either way, best to do it now instead of later.

This is the first time I've lived alone completely (almost a year and a half now) and I really enjoy it. Sure, it's a little hard to manage everything at first like bills, etc. If you are not a big spender, I don't see any problems as long as you keep track.
Getting a job is almost like a full-time job in itself. I remember back when I was having a really difficult time so I feel your pain. Don't worry though, I'm sure something will come along just keep positive and don't throw away an opportunity even though it might not be exactly what you are looking for. Just keep thinking that you can always move up.

I'm right there with you employment wise.

Moving out on my own was an expensive but very important thing to me. I love living along, but it did take alot of adjusting.

On the living alone: I've been leaving home at the age of 17 and haven't been regretting it ever since. No thing like walking around naked, whenever you feel like it.

With all the fears and anxieties I've dealt with in my life, living alone hasn't been one of them. But maybe these suggestions will help....A pet might help, if you don't already have one. Get to know the neighbors, and the rental office staff right away, that should help.
