I am confused right now... I just got compared to an expensive car that he knows he can't have, but wants to keep things the way that they are for now. I mean, if you could get that car, wouldn't you take it when it's offered to you? But I guess if a guy says he really, really likes you- that and a $1.50 will get you a ride on the subway.
I'll tell you what it means to me: Ladies and gents, I am still single and not looking back. Would anyone else agree with my conclusion?
What if Prince Charming had never shown up? Would Snow White have slept in that glass coffin forever? Or would she have eventually woken up, spit out the apple, gotten a job, a health-care package and a baby from her local neighborhood sperm bank?
If he really thought you were that terrific car he'd be taking you for a spin right now. He's trying to get away without making you feel bad. -shrug- You're right.. just keep moving, you'll find a good one.
"I don't flick neeedles like my sick friend,
I don't march like Beetle Bailey through a quick trend,
I don't frequent church's steeples on my weekend,
And I don't comment if you formulate a weak Zen."
You young kids today, where ya’ll get the silly idea of comparing a woman to a car, that is just downright crude and unthoughtful….
I came from an older wiser generation, where women are respected and valued as much as we would with a horse, the similarity doesn’t end there, we always judge them by examining their teeth first and how sturdy their back and legs are for those long rides through the night, so on and so forth…
as I said, I see no correlation between a car and a woman, except maybe when they both got those “headlights” on, they sure get your attention fast……
