Hey yall. I'll be in SF Labor Day weekend to see my favorite band play at the Slow Food Festival. I'll be with three other people. I haven't been to the Bay area since I was a kid, and I am hoping to hear about some fun suggestions and recommendations for adults. I think my friends are going to want to see some touristy stuff, which is fine. We are looking for dim sum in the city, and clubs that are crawling with sexxxy Asian men.
I would enjoy a meet up, *looks at Crys and Liz* but I have to run it by my travelmates too. We may not have time for everything.
Please PM me with suggestions. What Friday of the month is it that ppl rollerblade around in costumes? Thanks, loves!!
OK, since I posted that, things changed, and it might not be Labor Day weekend that we go. I posted this here rather than in the Meetups forum, 'cause I'm not sure I'll be able to do that, with the group that is now going. Other people are now coming with.
Thank you!
OHHHHHH I hope I get to meet you! As for touristy things to do in SF, you can't go wrong with Fisherman's Warf... I've always enjoyed it and a boat trip to Alcatraz is fun too... Chinatown is kinda crazy and Haight/Ashbury are your standard touristy stuff.
I'll let a local tell you about places to eat and clubs because I don't know, LOL I only visit the bay, I don't live there. But... you let me know when you are coming and I will do my best to organize a meet... but I wold LOVE to meet my pal Pal
Hey Pal!! It'll be great to see you again! I can fill you in on some great restaurants to visit and I'll definitely be able to give you some good restaurants to visit. Just let us know when you'll be out here and I'll try to make it into the city!

FYI... My name is pronounced like Chris, not Cries
If you're ok with leaving the city and take a BART ride to downtown Oakland, there is the Art & Soul festival going on. It has lots of music and other activities. You might try this link also from the SF Chronical for other ideas
Friday Night Skate is EVERY Friday night at midnight, they meet at the Ferry Building along the Embarcadero, which is also great hub of local cuisine. Lots of famous names are there -- many of which are essential to slow food. Ferry Building Marketplace
