am i pregnant? (need advice from the ladies)
i've been trying to concieve for the last few months. just yesterday, i started with some spotting. i thought i had started my menstrual. each time i go to the bathroom, the spotting shows only when i wipe and slowly disappear. i've been tracking my bbt and it's been high and even more elevated today. however, i'm still experiencing the light bleeding or spotting. it's not heavy or even resemble a normal menstrual flow. ladies, i need some advice whether this is implantation bleeding or is it just my normal menstrual. i have irregular cycle ranges from 25-41 days and yesterday was into my 29th day. based on my bbt, ovulation could have taken place on day 24 or 25 of march. my luteal phase lasted 10 days from the previous month based on post ovulation and the start of menstruation. is it too early for me to do a hpt or i should wait. most of the sites stated that implantation bleeding can last from few hrs to few days. should i get an appt to visit my ob or wait until i get a positive hpt?

I am not qualified to give an opinion but I suggest calling your doc to be sure. Best of luck in conceiving. How exciting.

Because of the spotting, you should go see the doctor. Spotting is considered a sign of possible miscarriage, although some bleeding early in pregnancy is temporary and not uncommon. Stress avoidance is a huge factor in preventing miscarriage. All the best to you...

This exact thing happened to a friend of mine, and she was pregnant. It sounds like implantation bleeding to me. With the irregular cycle and all, it's hard to say, but that would be my first guess.
The other thing is (and yeah, I know everyone's different for this) is do you *feel* pregnant? I don't mean nauseous and stuff, but like do you feel kind of bloaty, like almost PMS-like, but no period (or in your case, only light spotting)? For me, this was how it was both times. I've taken two pregnancy tests in my life, and both times, I knew what the answer was going to be before I read the stick.
Take a home test, and see what itsays. If it's negative, wait a few days and take one again. If that's a +, then go ahead and schedule yourself an appointment. I don't know about the practice you go to, but both times, my midwives did first appointments around 8 weeks, so you may end up waiting a little while, but it would still be good to get an appointment on the books just so you have your foot in the door at your practice of choice.

There was a time in my life when I was really stressed out and missed my period, was spotting a little and then it would stop. next month the same thing happened but I started getting symptoms like nausea and bloating but no period so I thought I was pregnant, took the test, negative.. I was like that for two more months so I went to the doctor.. I wasn't pregnant though..I'm all better now ^_^ I just had to go see the doctor and relax a little.

could be implantation bleeding like nordic said. I'm assuming since you are trying to concieve that you're not drinking or smoking, and that you're taking your prenatals.
I'd just wait a few more days and try to get a positive pregnancy test. Your doc really won't see you until you are 12 weeks along anyway in most cases.
Just be good, and maybe there's a baby there!

if i'm stressed out, my cycle would usually be just long. i always have heavy blood flow. besides, my bbt for today remain elevated in the high 98s. if this is menstrual, my bbt would have dropped.
